If everyone were to be original, the world wouldn't be where it is today. Progress isn't original. It is a representation of a continuation that approaches perfection and never really reaches it...

@MalcDaMouf ohhh in my face, i was just commenting on the common connection between flow and the topic of this poem. I'm not trying to be slightly negative in any way. I actually like this one, but to say its impossible to have a truly original flow in damn near insane. Times change, styles evolve, people live and die. We might walk the same Earth, speak similar languages but we don't share eyes or hearts that beat and pump out what we spill do we? Its crazy, isn't it?

There really is no other, in this, I mentioned so "many" poets to stay neutral. wasn't a crack at this guy but you have to admit, the rambling angst goes with the parental poems. The run shutter breathe then run again flow.

Well, seeing as poetry has been an art form since....... language, it's impossible to have a truly original flow. I'm sure if you have the time on your hands, you can take any poem, and keep going back in time until you find something that it sounds like. Sadly, that's life. I mean really, why do so many people watching or listening to these poets copy each other when they post their slightly negative comments? Crazy isn't it?

to whoever said white poets suck: a lot of them do and so do poets of every race. remember that for every brotha like perre that lays out a heartfelt jam like this, there are forty wack kids with "my nubian princess ronald reagan invented aids" shit. the fact is that, in poetry, like in music or graphics or any other creative pursuit, 95% of the people are going to suck. point is, enjoy what doesn't. like this. god, this has to be one of the best things i've ever heard

That ending was absolutely fantastic. Anyone that can send shivers up my spine with their words gets two thumbs up from me. I wonder if he is published, I would love to see more of his work. This is one helluva video.
