A Great Song. It tells the Story of a Girl who Wears a Tri Colour(Green white and Orange) around her hat. To remind her about her True Love who went to Fight in the 1916 Rising. He died in this Song during Battle. This Song was written by Peadar Kearney. The Man who wrote The Irish National Anthem Amhrán na bhFiann as well as God Bless England(That is a Joke song and it is not a Song Praising England in anyway infact it pokes fun at England. lol Just in case anyone is wondering) He wrote many Other Famous Songs as well. The Wolfe Tones take this Song for a Test Drive here lol. Enjoy
