Apexi active tail silencer with HKS Hi-Power exhaust on RX-8Backhttp://rotaryinsider.com Well, my Hi-Power HKS exhaust sounded like rice, and was so friggin' loud I wanted to toss it. Instead of doing that, I bought the apexi active tail silencer, which is a silencer that has a plunger type system that is spring loaded. When your engine pushes a lot of exhaust gasses, the exhaust opens up and acts like there's no silencer in place. Basically you get a normal sounding car till you floor it.
