"Bhenchod Madarchod", when translated, means 'sisterfucker, motherfucker'. Bombay crowds have an infamous reputation of being one of the most rowdiest crowds in the country, in addition to being impatient, close-minded and poseur-ish. The 'bhenchod madarchod' chants originated here and the crowds used to use them when they'd get impatient during soundchecks, or, to freak outstation bands out. Zero, a Bombay band, has had their fair share of the chants, and over the time, became a crowd favorite. Later on in their gigs, they encouraged the crowds to chant, and sang and played along to it..as a sort of tribute to the Bombay crowds, and a parody. So, as Rajeev has said many a time, it's a Bombay thing. For others (with proof of decent brain activity) who have problems with this song, comment on what exactly you felt wrong about the thing. Coming back to the band, Zero has been almost unanimously considered as one of India's finest acts, and it wouldn't do you harm to check out their serious (ok, not so serious) stuff in the 'More From/Related Videos' list, or search on youtube..
