These are my cousins. 4 sisters that make up the "perri sisters" darlene, carolyn,sharon, and lori perry who has amazingly gifted voices. best known for there touring and singing with anita baker from the time she started until now. They also are known for singing with: anita baker chaka khan george michaels patti labelle aretha franklin pat methany group brian culbertson george duke and many more! They also have released some albums of there own including: They signed directly to MCA where they have released one album 'Tradewinds' (1990), which includes 'Someone Like You' In 1989, they hooked up with Spike Lee for the soundtrack album to his film 'Do The Right Thing'. This included the songs 'Prove To Me', 'Feels So Good' (released as a single) and a duet by Lori Perri and Gerald Allston, 'Hard To Say'. Following live appearances with Metheny in 1983 and 1985, they signed with Zebra Records (via MCA) and recorded a debut album Celebrate (1986), featuring two Metheny numbers, 'Airstream Two' and 'Jaco Two'. Albums: Celebrate (Zebra 1986) The Flight (Zebra 1988) No Place to Go (Zebra 1989) Tradewinds (MCA 1990) Solo Lori Perry: Wrote This Song (PaLance Records 2004) they still continute to tour today! when it all comes down to it, these for sisters are the best back-up vocalist to ever live!
